Prepare To Clean Candle Holders
Find a flat, clean surface to clean your candlestick holder. Prepare everything you need, including your candlestick holder, handy can of WD-40® Multi-Use Flexible Straw, and a clean microfibre cloth. You should test the WD-40® on an inconspicuous area of your candlestick before cleaning, to ensure it does not react and prevent further damage.
Cleaning Candle Holders: How To Remove Old Candle Wax & Clean
Once your work area is prepped and your tools are ready to go, you can begin cleaning the candle holder. Firstly, place the candlestick holder facing upwards on your surface, and apply WD-40® Multi-Use Flexible Straw to the entire length. Use the handy bendable straw applicator to reach any tricky areas, such as grooves or engravements.
Once you have coated the entire candle stick holder, allow the product to work for around two minutes. This will break down any grime, dirt, or leftover candle wax to ensure easy removal. After this time has passed, you can grab your microfibre cloth and begin to work the product in.
Using soft circular motions, gently disperse and work in the product. Wipe the residue away, and reveal a clean, sparkling candlestick holder.
Once the holder is clean, you should reapply an additional layer of WD-40® Multi-Use Product and massage it in using a soft cloth and wipe away any remaining residue. This will create a protective water and dust repellent layer to keep your candle stick holders clean and shiny for even longer!
Polish The Candle Holders
After wiping away the residue, you can polish your candlestick holder for an even brighter finish. Using a clean microfibre cloth, polish the metal in circular motions to refine the shine further. You’ll be blown away by your shiny, good as new candle stick holders!
