To keep your bike chain in perfect condition during wet weather, you should apply a chain wax after every time you’ve been biking in the rain and once you have cleaned your chain. This will reduce wear and tear, maintain the performance of your chain and help it last longer, saving you money on replacement parts.

WD-40 Specialist Motorbike Chain Wax has strong adhesive properties. This makes it perfect for high speed, high stress applications typically associated with motorcycle chains. It is ideal for wet conditions, as the formula thickens and dries, creating a highly water resistant coating to actively prevent rust and corrosion. You’ll be able to bike in the rain with confidence knowing you aren’t causing damage to your chain.
