Things you will need

Step 1

Prepare the metal runners

Pull the drawer out completely and inspect the runners. Use a dry cloth to remove dust, dirt, or old lubricants.

Step 2

Apply WD-40® Multi-Use Product

Step 3

Move the drawer

Place the drawer back into the furniture and slide it back and forth several times so that the WD-40® Multi-Use Product spreads well and reaches all moving parts. You will immediately notice how much smoother it slides.

Step 4

Wipe away excess product

Remove excess product with an absorbent cloth. A thin protective layer remains that helps prevent wear and moisture build up.
