The best way to clean golf clubs is to simply fill a bowl with warm water and dish soap, and use the solution to wipe down your entire club with your microfibre cloth. Work the cloth gently in circular motions to remove as much build up as you can. On more stubborn areas, you may wish to use a soft bristled brush to dislodge the dirt.
Once you are happy, rinse the entire club with fresh water to reveal a clean surface!
Once you have cleaned your golf clubs, you will want to get them sparkling like new again! Firstly, you should determine what material your club is plated in. The most common finishes are either chrome or steel. Once you know which you are dealing with, you should purchase the corresponding polish. Steel and chrome polishes can be found in your local hardware store.
Using a clean microfibre cloth, you should apply the polish to your club in circular motions. Continue this motion throughout your club, ensuring that each part is covered in a thin layer of polish. Let the polish dry over a few hours, ensuring you protect the surface it is placed on to avoid transfer stains.
Once the polish is dried, you can give your club a final wipe with a dry, clean cloth.
