Tip 1 – Recycle your Egg Boxes
Don’t throw away your egg cartons. Instead, use them to freeze small portions of homemade (or leftover) sauces. Simply pour the sauce into each ‘egg cup’ and then pop in the freezer. Once frozen, remove the single-serving sized sauces and transfer to freezer bags. When you need a serving, remove and defrost for a few hours at room temperature. A tasty and convenient hack.
Tip 2 – Create An Extra ‘Drawer’
Now that carrier bags are designed to reuse and recycle, we seem to have accumulated loads of them, and they take up a lot of space. Keep yours safe and tidy with this top trick. Fill an empty tissue box with carrier bags, bin bags or food waste bags, and pull them out as you would a tissue. Now that’s what you call space saving to the max!
Tip 3 – Make a Temporary Drinks Fridge
Last-minute party? Ever have visitors drop in without warning, or run out of space in the fridge for the wine when you’re having a party? Do not despair – you can quickly chill down drinks with this top hack… Simply grab a bucket or big bowl and fill it with salted ice water. The salt causes the temperature to drop rapidly, giving you icy cold beverages within seconds! Cool and collected.
Tip 4 – De-grease Your Floors
Keep your kitchen floors sparkling! Grease spillages on the kitchen floor are sadly a common occurrence, but they can be very hard to completely remove with long-term staining often resulting. To clean up grease efficiently, use WD-40 Specialist® Degreaser. Simply spray on the clear formula before, and allow it to sit for a few seconds before wiping or rinsing away for a clean finish. For heavy soiling, leave for a few extra seconds to penetrate through the grease before wiping away with a clean cloth.
